The Victorian Ladies Tea Guild of Western Montana is a social club made up of women who enjoy the idea of wearing 1800's and early 1900's style clothing and who are daring enough to actually do so! We spend time together doing such things as attending at-home teas, sewing bees, picnics, parades, parties with traditional games like croquet & badminton, shopping, meals out, and taking trips to the shore in those oh-so-fashionable Victorian bathing suits.

Members are encouraged to learn the correct fashion of the period their garments represent and to attempt to follow those fashions.  However, the focus of the Guild is on enjoying our period-style costumes and not on the accuracy of the costumes themselves. No one is ever discouraged from wearing a garment that fails to be correct. In fact, garments put together from thrift store finds are positively encouraged.  The idea is to have fun.

Membership is open to women of all ages who enjoy the idea of wearing period style costumes and who are daring enough to actually do so!

Membership is not required to participate in any club event so long as the non-member is either a guest of a member or is attending to decide whether she wants to join.

Dues are for a calendar year without proration. Any member who pays before January 31st receives a discount. New members who join from October through December must pay the full amount, but that money is also applied toward the next year's dues.

Dues for 2008 are $25
